Don't Leave Files Online Indefinitely

Once a client has downloaded your work, there is often no need for the file to remain accessible on the internet. Expiring links and one-time downloads give you peace of mind by automatically restricting access when the transfer's purpose is complete.

Expiring Links

Set a clear deadline for file access. Link expiry creates urgency for your recipients to review and download the assets, while ensuring your data is automatically cleaned up and removed from active access after the time limit (up to 7 days for registered users) passes.

One-Time Downloads

For highly sensitive files or exclusive assets, limit the link to a single successful download. Once the recipient downloads the files, the link instantly self-destructs and becomes invalid for any subsequent attempts, effectively preventing unauthorized link forwarding.

When to Use These Controls

Time-Limited Promotions

Share early-access tracks, press kits, or exclusive campaign assets that should only be available for a few days.

Confidential Documents

Send contracts, legal documents, or financial records using a one-time download to prevent link sharing.

Creating Urgency

Use expiring links to encourage clients to review and approve creative work promptly.

Clear Recipient Experience & Activity Tracking

Recipients see exactly when a link is scheduled to expire or if it's limited to a single download, so there are no surprises. Meanwhile, you can track exactly when they viewed and downloaded the files before the link expired.

Expiry & Download FAQs

An expiring delivery link is a transfer that automatically becomes unavailable after a specific time period, such as 3 or 7 days, ensuring files aren't left accessible online indefinitely.
When one-time download is enabled, the delivery link will immediately expire as soon as the files have been downloaded once by the recipient.
Yes, you can configure a link to expire after a certain number of days, but also enforce a one-time download constraint so it expires even sooner if the file is downloaded.
Once a link expires or the one-time download limit is reached, recipients trying to access the link will see a message indicating the transfer is no longer available, and the files are securely deleted.
